The emphasis is given towards dispensing high-quality Homoeopathic medicines to the patients. The pharmacist, under the guidance of the Senior Physicians, ensures that accurate medicines, as prescribed by the physician, are dispensed to each patient. Different colored prescription slips, such as Pink, Yellow, White, Blue and Green, are used to dispense medicines quickly. Specific color prescription slips are issued for senior citizens, differently abled persons, pregnant women, cancer patients, emergency patients, and ex-servicemen. To ensure the right prescription for the right person, two tokens are issued during the registration process, and patients are required to produce their token to cross-check with the prescription slip while receiving their medicines. Medicines are dispensed from 9.00 a.m. until the last patient is served. IPD medicines are served on a daily basis as per the need from the dispensary. Medicines are provided free of cost for both OPD & IPD patients. The dispensary maintains an adequate stock of medicines as per the approval of the Institute’s own Medicine Formulary Committee. The dispensary offers around 6000 homoeopathic medicines in different forms such as Single ointments, Eye drops, Ear drops, Mother tinctures (Q), various potencies of Centesimal (C), Decimal (X), and Fifty millesimal (LM).
