Homoeopathic Pharmacy department conducts BHMS and M.D (Hom) Homoeopathic Pharmacy courses with four seats in M.D. Students are taught different methods of preparing homoeopathic medicines and method of their standardization as per the standard Pharmacopoeia. Apart from theoretical and practical training in the subject of Homoeopathic Pharmacy periodical assessment tests and tutorials are conducted to equip the students for their 1st BHMS examination under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

Departmental laboratory is well equipped with modern pharmaceutical instruments & apparatuses like distillation plant, hot air oven, microscope, infrared moisture balance apart from other common instruments. The laboratory also contains 37 herbarium sheets with wooden frame, 147 herb specimen (dry), 30 herb specimens preserved in FAA solution, 10 mineral specimens and 7 animal specimens and 10 botanical slides. A botanical garden has been developed in the campus with the initiative of the department.

Department also has 30 nos. of charts on Homoeopathic Pharmacy & enough chemicals for conducting practical classes. Departmental library has a good collection of books on the subject, medicinal plants and CD’s on pharmacy.  

Post Graduate Laboratory has UV-vis-Spectroscope with monitor (new), Electric Potentiser, Electric Triturator, Spectroscope, TLC apparatus, Colorimeter apparatus, Digital balance, Digital pH meter along with glass wares and chemicals. Department also arranges industrial training on Pharmacy for the students.

The Department is actively engaged in various research projects and publication of papers.
