Background

The Library & Information Services Division of the National Institute of Homoeopathy provides the various information services to the users. At present, there are more than 24000 books and 2300 bound volume of journals in the holding of the library. The library has an archive with a collection of more than 4000 rare books on Homoeopathy, including some rare books in various languages like, German, Spanish etc. It also has a Reading Room cum Reference Section having rich collection of reference books on Homoeopathy. Presently all PG and UG departments also have departmental library.

The Library has been automated with e-Granthalaya, a cloud-based library automation software developed by NIC. Over 21,200 catalogue records and 713 membership records have been entered into the e-Granthalaya system.
