Department of Materia Medica & Homoeopathic Therapeutics

The Department of Materia Medica and Homoeopathic Therapeutics conducts theoretical, practical, and tutorial classes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These programs are affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences and are provided according to the standards of the National Council for Homoeopathy (NCH). The intake capacity for MD (Hom) in the department is twelve (12) seats per academic session.

The department actively participates in weekly seminars, case discussions, and group discussions organized within the institute. Students are taught to become self-reliant under the continuous guidance of teachers. The department organizes various lecture programs, discussions and seminars in which PG students and department members actively participate and present their research works.

Faculty members of the department also contribute as resource persons in various CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs organized by the NCH.
