The Department of Pathology and Microbiology conducts the undergraduate [B.H.M.S.] course under affiliation to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and as per the guidelines of NCH.

The new upgraded Pathology and Microbiology laboratory of the department has  sufficient numbers of microscope, specimens, Laboratory teaching aids, books etc. and  is one of the best Pathology and Microbiology department  among the Homoeopathic colleges in India.         

The Pathology museum of the department has a collection of 56 nos. of malignant specimens, 17 nos. of different display charts for enriching the academic interest of the students, teachers and visitors.

The bacteriological experiments like preparation of culture media, hanging drop preparation and certain serological experiments like WIDAL Test etc are demonstrated to the student’s as part of practical learning.

The department has one Projector & one Laptop which help the students to learn pathogenesis with morphological characteristic by visual image & animations. The syllabus of the Pathology &Microbiology are explained to the students through Power Point presentation as well as video presentations. Practical demonstrations of macroscopic & microscopic characteristics of all topics are done using software.
