राष्ट्रीय होम्योपैथी संस्थान

The Department of Community Medicine is involved in teaching of 4th BHMS students. The department also teaches Research Methodology and Bio-statistics to PG students. Theory and practical classes are conducted as per NCH regulation and in accordance with the curriculum of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS).

The Department has one museum for practical demonstration. Different instruments, models and charts related to subject matters on PSM like, family planning, nutrition, immunization, medical entomology, public health, etc. are used in practical classes.   

Students visit different places of public health importance as part of their field work in accordance with the prescribed university curriculum and NCH guidelines.   The department participates in the Homoeopathic Camp organized at Gangasagar Mela  by the Hospital Section every year. Students are sent to nearby Government Hospitals for two weeks training in management of infectious diseases.
